NBA YoungBoy was arrested in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana on multiple charges. According to reports, the 20-year-old rapper was picked up on drug, felony possession, and stolen firearms charges, and police discovered $47K in cash on Youngboy at the time of the arrest.
Police says that NBA Youngboy, real name Kentrell Gaulden, was among 16 people arrested for almost the same charges. The circumstances and details that led to his arrest are currently not available. The rapper has since been released from jail, after his lawyer issued a statement declaring his client innocent.
NBA Youngboy recently scored a number 1 album with TOP, his third chart topper in less than a year.
